Agreement

Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Sproutbit, you agree to these Terms of Service and to any applicable App Store terms. If you do not agree, do not use Sproutbit.

Accounts

Accounts and responsibility

Some Sproutbit features may work locally without an account. Cloud backup, restore, and some online features require sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your account access secure, using accurate information, and notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

You may not misuse Sproutbit, attempt to bypass security, interfere with the service, submit harmful content, reverse engineer restricted portions of the service, or use the app in a way that violates applicable law or platform rules.

Plant care

Plant care guidance is informational

Sproutbit provides general plant-care guidance based on plant profile data, user-entered details, room or outdoor site settings, light, pot or vessel, and care history. Plant health can depend on many real-world conditions that Sproutbit cannot fully observe.

Content

Photos, names, and user content

You may add plant names, custom site names, notes, photos, plant requests, and other user content. You represent that you have the rights needed to upload or share that content and that it does not violate the rights of others or applicable law.

You keep ownership of your user content. You give Sproutbit and its service providers permission to host, process, display, back up, transmit, and modify that content only as needed to operate, improve, secure, and support Sproutbit.

Purchases

Sprout Coins and in-app purchases

Sproutbit may offer Sprout Coins, digital items, customization options, or other in-app purchases. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment details and refund requests under Apple's policies.

• Sprout Coins and digital items have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
• Purchased Sprout Coins do not expire while the app account or local app data that stores them remains available.
• Consumable items may be depleted when used and may not be restorable after consumption.
• Restore Purchases is provided for eligible restorable purchases and App Store transaction recovery.
• Deleting local data, deleting your account, changing devices without backup, or removing app data may affect local balances and progress.

Plant requests

Requested plants and remote catalog updates

If you request a plant that is not yet in the detailed catalog, Sproutbit may use generic plant art and generic care guidance while we review the request. We try to add requested plants quickly, but plant requests are not guaranteed and may require review for accuracy, safety, and content quality.

Deletion

Account deletion and data loss

You can delete local garden data and, when signed in, request account deletion from the Account tab. Account deletion is intended to permanently remove Sproutbit cloud account data that we control. App Store purchase history remains managed by Apple. We may retain limited records where required for legal, security, dispute, compliance, or abuse-prevention reasons.

Disclaimers

Availability and limitations

Sproutbit is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service, perfect care outcomes, perfect plant identification, complete catalog coverage, or that every reminder, backup, restore, animation, reward, purchase, or notification will always work in every circumstance.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Just An App LLC and its service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost plants, lost profits, lost data, lost digital currency, or loss of goodwill, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Changes

Changes to Sproutbit and these terms

We may update Sproutbit features, pricing, rewards, catalog content, care guidance, policies, and these terms over time. If changes are material, we will update the effective date and provide notice where required. Continued use of Sproutbit after changes means you accept the updated terms.
